Step away from the bustling streets of La Conner and into the inviting courtyard at Hotel Planter—a serene oasis in the heart of our property. This spacious and thoughtfully designed area offers guests a place to unwind, enjoy the fresh air, and soak in the beauty of our historic surroundings.

Our courtyard has recently been enhanced with a covered patio space, perfect for enjoying the outdoors rain or shine. New, comfortable patio furniture and propane appliances make it a great spot for relaxing or gathering with others. Tables with umbrellas provide shaded seating for sharing meals, reading, or simply enjoying the ambiance.

During daytime hours, the courtyard may also be enjoyed by guests of our downstairs soda fountain and pizza shop, a vibrant part of the Hotel Planter experience that brings a lively, small-town charm to the space. As the day winds down and the soda shop closes, the courtyard naturally returns to a quieter setting—ideal for hotel guests looking to enjoy a peaceful evening outdoors.

Adding to the charm of the courtyard are stunning hand-blown glass art pieces by owner Stan O'Neil, echoing La Conner’s artistic heritage. Nestled under a towering maple tree, our gazebo offers a shady retreat to sip a glass of wine or enjoy a quiet moment, accompanied by birdsong and the occasional visit from a local owl.

While we strive to maintain a tranquil atmosphere, please note that La Conner is a welcoming, family-friendly town, and our property reflects that spirit. On occasion, you may see other visitors enjoying the space during the day.
